Hello, Guys!
Our long run with Wagaya no Rekishi is already over - we hope you found time to watch all three episodes and enjoyed them. :)
Now is a perfect time to reveal some details about the shows we've worked on and would like to share with you next.

You know Doraemon? I'm sure you do. If you're not that much into oldschool anime, you must have heard about Kaibutsu-kun, recently dramatized with Arashi's Leader in the main role. They were both created by manga artist Fujiko Fujio. 
In 2008 WOWOW broadcasted a series of six episodes based on short stories written (or drawn) by Fujiko Fujio, called Fujiko F. Fujio no Parallel Space. Each story is slightely different, we get a mix of comedy, sci-fi, fantasy, human drama, mix of directing and acting styles - from Nagasawa Masami to Kunimura Jun. 

We decided to provide the subs to this entertaining and under-rated show, so stay tuned for the releases!

Encouraged by the pretty funny post about memorable drama characters at HamsapSukebe we decided to make a little group brainstorm and write down our own actors/actresses nicknames that we use naturally instead of their real names. I'm going to share it with you in parts in-between our fansub releases.

So here's the first part of our list. Probably our fav. 5 character-based nicknames.

Here we are with a new softsub release for you - Ai wo kudasai (Give me love). This is sort of a side project for us, therefore the subs will be realeased in a rather slow pace, still we will try to update you regularly.  As usual, you can download the subs from the Drama Addicts forum (check the link below).

Tohno Ririka (Kanno Miho) is a bright worker of a nursery. Still it soon comes to light, that she has a rather gloomy past - raised in an orphanage, lonely, beaten, she even wanted to committed a suicide. That day she met a poet (Eguchi Yousuke) and he suggested they send letters to each other. Days pass, but Ririka is still struggling with the feelings she has inside, wanting to get even a bit of other people's happiness.

The drama is well known for it's main theme "Zoo" which was (and still is) a big hit. You may check it out if you liked the 2011 series "Guilty" - both have Kanno in main role of a mysterious and "two-faced" lead, who's (rightfully or not) trying to get revenge on the society. 

Kanno Miho recieved Television Drama Academy Award for Best Actress for her role.

After a long subbing process we proudly present you "Wagaya no Rekishi", a 3 episode special written by Mitani Kouki to celebrate 50th birthday of FujiTV. 

"The History of My Family" presents us the ups and downs of one Yame family. Masako (Shibasaki Kou) is the eldest daughter of the Yame family, living in Fukuoka, Kyushu. She leaves school to help support her good, but naive parents and 4 siblings. The drama centers on the family members and people their meet in the post-war Japan (lots of them being real, historical figures from the cultural and political world!).

An amazing star-studded cast gets together in this one in a lifetime, long but worthwhile comedy.
